Recipe – Ghent brawn baby carrots

Ghent brawn with glazed baby carrots


  • 1 block of 400 gram of TRENDITION Ghent brawn
  • 16 baby carrots
  • 100 g butter
  • 20 g granulated sugar
  • Sprig of thyme
  • 16 fresh sprigs of parsley
  • Salt and pepper


  • Peel and cook the baby carrots al dente with the sprig of thyme.
  • Braise them in the butter and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Deep-fry the parsley until crisp.
  • Cut the TRENDITION Ghent brawn into small blocks.


  • Lay the carrots on top of the TRENDITION Ghent brawn.
  • Finish off with the deep-fried parsley and some of the butter that was used for the simmering.
