Recipe – Ghent brawn baby carrots
- 1 block of 400 gram of TRENDITION Ghent brawn
- 16 baby carrots
- 100 g butter
- 20 g granulated sugar
- Sprig of thyme
- 16 fresh sprigs of parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Peel and cook the baby carrots al dente with the sprig of thyme.
- Braise them in the butter and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
- Deep-fry the parsley until crisp.
- Cut the TRENDITION Ghent brawn into small blocks.
- Lay the carrots on top of the TRENDITION Ghent brawn.
- Finish off with the deep-fried parsley and some of the butter that was used for the simmering.
